You can ask us to permanently delete your Voxeli account and the personal
data associated with it. This page explains what is deleted, what may be
kept, and how to make the request.
Delete your account in the app
The fastest way is from inside Voxeli: open Settings, tap
Delete account, and confirm with your password. Your
account and data are deleted immediately.
Or request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, send an email from the email address your Voxeli account is
registered to to
Qaisar.technation@gmail.com
with the subject Delete my Voxeli account.
Email a deletion request
Sending from your account's own email address lets us verify the request
without asking for further identification. If you can no longer access that
address, email us anyway and we will help you verify your identity another
way.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile (name, email, hashed password, profile picture)
- Books you added and everything derived from them — uploaded source files,
extracted text, chapter splits, generated summaries, and synthesized
narration audio
- Your reading activity — playback progress, bookmarks, bookmark notes,
favorites, and playback preferences
- Your text-to-speech usage records
- Any support correspondence you have had with us, once it is no longer
needed
What may be retained
- Purchase and subscription records that we are required to keep for tax,
accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal reasons. These are retained only
for as long as the law requires and are not used for any other purpose.
- Server logs, which are kept for a short period for security and
debugging and are then rotated out automatically.
Cancelling a paid subscription is handled through your device's app store,
not through this request. Deleting your account does not automatically
cancel an active subscription.
How long it takes
Deleting from the app takes effect immediately. For email requests, we
will action your request and confirm by email within 30
days. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
